This book is written in a way kids can understand.  The illustrations are clear and the book is written with basic facts and answers.  Divorce explains why divorce happens, shared custody, adjustment and guilt among answering numerous other questions children of divorce want to know.

What a wonderful book to have in all students and teachers collections.  Literature for Children includes various genres of Children's literature, including picture books to folk literature.  A fantastic resource for any teacher, with a passion for literature.  The book is also linked to myeducationkit  an online learning tool providing resources to help you in your classroom, including a database of children's literature. Fantastic resource for all teachers.

Plant a Kiss is a wonderful little pocket of joy to read to yourself and to read to children.  Little Miss plants a kiss and what results from this  is a wonderful story of love, kindness and giving. The illustrations are simple but beautiful with a gorgeous touch of bling!  This new book to our collection will definitely be one of my all time favourites.  Just beautiful……..

Anyone who followed David Bain after that tragic day 20 June 1994, will find this book captivating, remarkable and incredibly thought provoking.  Joe Karam has been a public advocate for David Bain since 1996.  Karam was named by The New Zealand Herald in 2007 and TV3 in 2009 as one of their New Zealanders of the year, and his assertion that the first Bain trial was a travesty was vindicated by the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council and David's subsequent acquittal.

A lovely little book to keep or  to give to one of the special people in your life starting on a new adventure.  Simple ink drawings  accompany the great idioms on each page.  “he’d have to talk to the principal because she was the big cheese’ is written beside a simple  drawing of the principal dressed in Swiss cheese.  Perfect for teaching such an abstract concept to young children.

What an awesome book for those moving into University life.  15 young New Zealanders share their experiences as they look back at their transition from school to  tertiary study. 

The students offer fantastic down to earth  advice and have some great hints to help you get through your individual journey.  The stories are humorous and honest and provide a glimpse at the reality behind all the shiny brochures and television advertisements.
